i have jist started using MoL in budapest! availability of kiosks and bikes are good! however some bikes are very badly maintained and are not supported to be on the road! brakes creaking and not working well! tires not inflated properly! metal part clanging! But if you look beyond all those kinks, it’s a very efficient way of getting around this bike friendly city! why did it take me 5 years to find this bike app out! i mean i have seen it all over town and the front door of my building even has a kiosk! Nonetheless, i am happy i signed up! and for 1000 huf a month! it’s a NO brainer! Go try it out! you’ll love it!

I was visiting Budapest the last month and when I left the city I deleted my account but you charged me for this month again even when I deleted my account a week after create it

Download the app, create a profile, validate your identity, enter your payment card, scan the QR code of the bike you want to rent, ride it around, return it to the docking station at your destination, and then finish by lowering the locking lever below the seat. It’s really that easy! And what a great way to see this beautiful city on the many bike trails now available!

Great ride!

it’s easy to start a session, difficult to end it, and all along the difficulties m, they charge to your credit card and don’t refund. i will not use them a second time.

Confusing at first but could be super cheap when you know to use it.

Very good bike ride. Good tires, brakes and everything ok.

I rented the bike for 20 minutes and got charged for 6 hours. Stay away and Don’t use this service.

Got charged $25 to take a bathroom break. It's great til they arbitrarily change rules or the lock magically doesn't register and they help themselves to your credit card.

The app is easy to use and intuitive.

I tried to use this app three years ago and it ended in frustration. The only trouble I had this time was the initial registration. If you’re from outside of Hungary, it’s difficult to register your phone #. I kept putting in my country code, yet didn’t get sent a link. Use the website and put in your email—it’ll work easily. After that, it’s terrific. I had five separate bikes around Budapest one day for a total of $2.64 USD. AMAZING. 1st bike was a bit dodger, all others terrific. Great experience.

The app doesn’t work. Never received a Pin even after deleting and redownloading app. When I tried to press renew Pin it said I’ve tried to renew it too many times. I have not received a single code. Couldn’t even make an account.

Was looking forward to riding in Budapest. Tried multiple times to get a PIN, but none ever came through. It eventually locked me out due to too many attempts.

It was easy to figure out how to use the app to get a bike. I like how it keeps track of my time, s I don’t have to! Smooth ride, well marked bike trails

Totally crap. App takes hours to load. Paid my money and never received a text with a pin. Tried several times with no luck. Should have read the previous review. DO NOT USE THIS CRAPPY APP!!!

I wasted 30 minutes trying to figure out how to rent a bike with this app. I gave up in the end. I’m a computer programmer and this baffled me.

Purchased two 3 day passes. Tried multiple bikes over 3 days and was never able to get a bike to unlock. Saw other people try and they had the same problem. In my 3 days in Budapest, didn’t see anyone actually use them.
